Don't you just love to take something old and make it new...or newish?? Not really sure which. We needed a fish tank stand...the hubby's newest endeavor...and I decided that we needed one that wasn't too expensive. I mean come on those things don't come cheap! So I took my Gran's old sewing machine cabinet, took out the sewing machine (I think I'm going to clean it up and put it out on a shelf!), painted it heirloom white and presto...a new stand! Even better than getting to refinish it was the fact that I didn't have to pay a cent for it and it has family history! It doesn't get better than that!

That turned out so beautiful! I love that is was repurposed and it has family history. And let's be honest...those fish tank stands at the store are absolutely hideous. Great job!
I love how it turned out! What brand paint is that, I love that shade! Jen
The sewing table looks great. I bet it was a ton of work. Thanks for stopping by Casa Petrie!
