This morning the only thing that will help me is this...and if they could go ahead and just tap straight into my blood stream with an IV that would be great:)

Looking forward to a whirlwind trip to Ikea this evening with my favorite people, then cheeseburgers and maybe a little late night crafting:) Couldn't get any better than this!

Oh and I am thisclose to finishing my trash to treasure roadside head-board/foot-board! YAY!

Father's Day

I racked my brain all this week to come up with something that was meaningful and not god awful expensive for father's day this year for the grandpas. We have a few here in our family. Four to be exact, two for me and two for the hubby. So finally I came up with this. Ava Kate holding a sign. I printed the picture let her decorate those wooden craft frames from Hobby Lobby and pick which to give to who. They have been a big hit so far! We've got two more to deliver today so hopefully we'll be four for four:)

Y'all have a happy father's day! We're spending ours in Austin, poolside!

I am SO going there! Yard bids:) Can't wait! The joys of having my own fresh eggs and little chickies to take care of are almost too much for me to bear! I am dead set on this design by the way. The hubby is dead set on an A frame that is much smaller and less pretentious. But how often do you get to build a chicken coop? I certainly don't want to make a little one, find out it is too small for this mama bird's flock and have to turn around and build a chickie chalet when we should have just built the chalet in the first place:) See my logic! we shall see who prevails in this battle of wills!

Oh and don't even get me started on the discussions as to what kind of chickens to get. I want Silkies, he wants Rhode Island Reds. Maybe a few of both would be a good compromise?
